Sephardic Adventure Camp

Sephardic Adventure Camp (SAC) is an overnight Sephardic summer camp in the United States founded by members of the Seattle Sephardic community and Rabbi Solomon Maimon. It is a warm, welcoming Jewish camp — big enough to offer a wide variety of activities, but small enough to know every camper by name. A summer spent at Sephardic Adventure Camp builds independence and self-reliance as well as Jewish friendships and identity that last a lifetime.

The 18-day camp season in beautiful Ocean Park, Washington, focuses on learning the beauty, values, and ethics of Sephardic Jewish living. It fosters a love of the Jewish people and the State of Israel, increasing self-reliance, developing leadership skills, helping young people grow in a responsible, mature manner, building friendships for life, and of course, just plain having fun. It is a proud Sephardic resource for the Ladino-speaking Sephardic communities of the former Ottoman Empire and now serves as an international camp with youth, counselors, and staff from around the world, including Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Israel, Spain, Turkey, and beyond.
